The Rotary Club of Bellerive

We meet on the first and third Monday of the month,
at the Bellerive Yacht Club, Cambridge Rd, Bellerive, Tasmania
6pm for a 6.30 meeting start

Mothers Day High Tea 2024

Thank you to all the mums, grandmas, daughter, dads, grandads and friends who attended our Inaugural Mother's Day High Tea on Sunday 12 May, at Clarence on the Bay.

Guests were treated to sumptuous savoury and sweet platters, as well as guests speakers, the viewing of Gillian Crosby's short film GAME FACE and loads of fab lucky door prizes. See you next year!

What do you do at Rotary?

That's a really good question. Every Rotary club is a little bit different, but our club is a group of like minded people who meet together regularly to improve our community and our planet.

Rotary is involved in some amazing local and global projects. Some of our recent achievements are:

  • Fundraising for THREE new bike maintenance stations

  • Partnered  with the Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre at working bees  and events at the Neighbourhood garden. Plus installing local libraries to improve literacy and access to books.

  • Fundraising for the Eastern Shore Eisteddfod.

  • Fundraising for prizes for students at Rosny College.

  • Giving Christmas gifts to the residents of a local shelter.

  • Supporting our great project Boobs for Breast Cancer.

  • Volunteering at the recent COVID-19 vaccine clinics

  • Welcoming people at the gate at the local Kangaroo Bay Saturday market

We have kicked so many goals this year, and we are excited about kicking some more!

We will be working with  'Orange Sky Laundry' and 'the Share the Dignity project'. Continue our relationship with the Neighbourhood House If you would like to get involved with us, download our calendar below or click on our Facebook link , and come join us at a meeting!
