The Rotary Club of Bellerive
We meet on the first and third Monday of the month at the Bellerive Yacht Club, Cambridge Rd, Bellerive, Tasmania 6pm for a 6.30 meeting start

What do you do at Rotary?
That's a really good question. Every Rotary club is a little bit different, but our club is a group of like minded people who meet together regularly to try to improve our community and our planet. On the tabs up the top there you can see some of the amazing things that Rotary does locally and globally, but some of the things that we have achieved in the last year or soare:
-
We fundraised for two new bike maintenance stations at Kangaroo Bay Park and at Meehan Range Mountain Bike Park.
-
We have partnered up with the Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre and put in some time at the working bees at the Neighbourhood garden, and installed some great little local libraries to help improve literacy and access to books for everyone in the area.
-
We have raised money to donate some great causes like supporting the Eastern Shore Eisteddfod, donating prizes for students at Rosny College, giving Christmas gifts to the residents of a local shelter and supporting great causes like Boobs for Breast Cancer.
-
Volunteering our time to welcome people to the recent COVID-19 vaccine clinics
-
Welcoming people at the gate at the local Kangaroo Bay Saturday market, and teaching people entering how to use their smart phones to check in.
-
And, we welcomed three new members into our club!

On top of that, we have had some great social events, including a gin tasting, an Irish meal out and a ride with a sushi train. We have kicked so many goals this year, and we are excited about kicking some more!
This year we plan to work with the 'Orange Sky Laundry' and 'the Share the Dignity project', as well as continue our relationship with the neighbourhood house and our other fabulous causes. If you would like to get involved with us, download our calendar below or click on our Facebook link , and come join us at a meeting!
